T-Mobile, Sprint and other giant carriers in USA and Europe may have famous device such G1, iPhone, Palm Pre, and others. But the first smartphone using Qualcomm Snapdragon chip with 1GHz processor arrived in Japan. It’s NTT Docomo who have made this phone available for their subscribers. But just looked at the NTT Docomo website, the phone is temporary suspension of the sale?
Toshiba called the phone T01A from previously announced as TG01. It’s a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional based smartphone with 9.9mm or 4.1 WVGA touchscreen display with 800×480 resolution. With less than 1 cm thick, the phone comes with support for 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and assisted GPS.
The TG01 version, the name will be used for outside Japan is expected to be available in Europe this summer.
