Verizon Motorola Droid offered for $799.99 on eBay

If you can’t wait until November 6 to get the Verizon Motorola Droid you probably can try to find it on somewhere else. And eBay is one of the online stores that always there for you. Just checked to eBay website and there are couple of Droids offered with various prices. And the highest one so far is $799.99 without contract. I guess it’s too expensive and not sure someone will buy it.
Droid Eris New Leaks Showing WiFi and 5 Megapixel Camera

Well this phone has been leaked for few days now and so far what we know is that the phone will be available from Verizon for $99 after rebate and it runs Android 1.5 on 528MHz Qualcomm CPU. Besides the HTC Droid Eris is also said to have almost identical specs with the HTC Hero. And the latest documents of the HTC Droid Eris showing WiFi and 5 megapixel camera as part of the phone specs. More info will be posted when available.
BlackBerry Storm2 Now Available at Verizon Stores

With the launch of the Motorola DROID today, the BlackBerry Storm2 seems not really interesting anymore. After delayed for few days Verizon finally officially announced the BlackBerry Storm2 on Monday, October 26. And today the phone hits Verizon stores, but does anybody care? Or maybe yes for those of you who are BlackBerry freaks. Someone posted a picture of one of Verizon’s store and said that he’s the only one waiting for the BlackBerry Storm2.

There’s only one thing to say about the newly announced DROID by Motorola headed for Verizon, it’s amazin! Great features, powerfull hardware, amazing platform and absolutely it’s fast! I guess that’s why Verizon didn’t pay attention too much about the BlackBerry Storm 2. It’s because they something better and it’s the DROID. And finally, the Motorola DROID is official. Motorola just announced the world’s first smartphone with Android 2.0. Along with the announcement the Motorola Droid’s website on Verizon is now no longer just an invitation but has been changed to a full website with all features of the phone. And the intersting thing is you may turn your speaker on and you will he some kind of robot’s sound that supposed to be a Droid’s voice.

I can’t believe this. Motorola doesn’t even announce it yet neither Verizon but folks on Tinhte blog already got the handset and just posted a hands-on video of the much anticipated Motorola Droid. Along with the announcement of the BlackBerry Storm 2, Verizon also released the new BlackBerry OS 5.0 software for the existing BlackBerry Storm customers. Let’s take a look at the newest hands-on video below just posted by Mobilecrunch. According to the video, the BlackBerry OS 5.0 update has turned the Storm into an iPhone clone. And absolutely makes the previous Storm better, faster and more responsive. Anway if you want to update your device you better free your time at least 1 hour since the update would take around 45 minutes. And you know what, it only works with Internet Explorer.
