After been waiting for few weeks finally the Samsung Innovation Quest or Samsung IQ 2009 Winners announced. The competition with the theme of “It’s all about widgets” was held from July until end of August. And the judges finally had choosen three winners of widgets, “Oh my Tweet”, “Twitter Tiny”, and “LoveOMeter.
Samsung to Bring Application Store Client to Omnia II and Omnia LITE

Following the Samsung i8910HD and the Omnia, Samsung will bring the Application Store mobile client to Omnia II (I8000) and Omnia LITE (B7300) for users in UK. The mobile client will be available to download from mid October (Just check to the website but not yet available). From now on, the Omnia II and Omnia LITE will be shipped with the Application Store client pre-installed.
Vodafone 360 Announced with Two Linux Mobile based Phones

Yeah, it’s true! Just like reported before, first, Vodafone today announced the Linux Mobile based Samsung phones and second Vodafone also announced the launch of the Vodafone 360 service. There are two handsets, the Vodafone 360 H1 and Vodafone 360 M1. The Vodafone 360 experience will be available on those two phones.
Samsung Application Store Opens on September 14th

It’s all set and Samsung is ready to launch their brand-new Samsung Application Store on Monday, September 14th. The store will provide apps for various Samsung Mobile Phones from various platforms such as Symbian, Windows Mobile and Java. The new platform for Samsung devices which is Android is not yet supported by the store. So get ready and looking forward to see how the store will look like.
Vodafone to Announce Linux Mobile based Samsung Phone

I came across this info while browsing messages on my Twitter but didn’t have any idea about the devices shown on the picture. Then i headed to BGR looking for some more details but nothing at that time. But just checked again and yes, BGR has the info. It’s a Samsung phone powered by Vodafone’s LIMO-based OS (Linux Mobile). The phone names so far rumored as Samsung Riedel I8305. Still according to some rumors Vodafone plans to announce this phone at a special event held in London on September 24th.
Samsung Rogue and Intensity Now Available at Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless today announced the availability of two new messaging phones the Samsung Rogue and the Samsung Intensity. Both phones will be available today. The Samsung Rogue will be offered at $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement while the Samsung Intensity is offered at $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
