Palm has released the all new Facebook application for their Palm webOS devices. This complete revamped is something what they called a rewritten-from-scratch version of the Facebook application. The app is now available for free in the Palm App Catalog. I haven’t tried this new app but looking at the screenshots, this new version seems so promising and this is an absolutely good news for Palm webOS device owners.

Apple just released the iTunes 9.0.2 update on Thursday and for the third times, Palm users are disappointed again for losing the iTunes Sync and access to iTunes media library from their Palm device. Palm probably will release another software update to enable the iTunes Sync again, but is that the only thing Palm can do? Why don’t they make their own software like what other players already did.
Palm Pixi Available Exclusively from Sprint on November 15 for $99.99
Looks like this gonna be a great holiday season for smartphone users with so many options to choose. And just today Sprint announced that the second Palm webOS device Palm Pixi will be available exclusively at Sprint stores for $99.99 with a two-year contract after a $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate. Those include online at www.sprint.com, through telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1, Best Buy, RadioShack and selected Wal-Mart stores. So get ready!
GSM Palm Pre Now Available from O2 Germany
The first GSM Palm Pre now officially on sale exclusively from Telefónica O2 Germany. The Pre will be offered with any kind of contract and in combination with the mobile phone surf flat rate. Well people in Europe may also will join other Pre users since the phone will be rolled out accross Europe as said by John Rubinstein, chairman and CEO, Palm, Inc.
Palm Pre II Get Spotted on O2’s Website?
An interesting news comes from O2. Just few days before the Palm Pre go on sale via O2 which is October 16, the Palm Pre II also appeared on O2’s website. The Palm Pre II shown up at the accessory selection and it clearly shows that this is absolutely different phone with the Palm Pre which is also shown on the same drop down list.
Palm Pixi to Hit Sprint and Best Buy at October 20th?
Palm’s second webOS device, the Palm Pixi is expected to be released on October 20th. The Pixi will be available on Sprint Corporate stores as well as Best Buy locations. If it’s true means that the Palm Pixi will compete with other device such as the Motorola CLIQ, BlackBerry Storm 2 and Bold 9700 which is expected to be released around the same day.
Palm webOS 1.2.0 Released, iTunes Sync doesn't Work
The Palm webOS 1.2.0 finally released yesterday and now available to download after been leaked few weeks ago. There’s no new applications on this update, just features changes to existing applications and bug fixes including several security issues. With this update, the Sprint Navigation now pulls Google contacts from the phone, as well as Exchange and Palm profile contacts. In addition, like many people thought before, the iTunes sync doesn’t work.
