Samsung Pixon 12 M8910 Joins SE Satio in 12-megapixel Camera Phone

Just few days after the launch of Sony Ericsson Satio, Samsung launched the 12-megapixel camera phone the Samsung Pixon 12 M8910. The phone is expected to arrive in Europe in June.

The samsung Pixon 12 M8910 features a 3.1″ touchscreen AMOLED with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio. This will gives you a great photo experience especially with the 28mm wide-angle lens and Xenon flash and the touch-based focus, allowing you to tap on the screen to select what you want to focus. Besides the phone also features fast-image saving with only 2 seconds wait before taking another shoots.

The phone it self supports dual-band UMTS/HSPA, quad-band GSM/EDGE and built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

Verizon Wireless and samsung Telecommunications Amerika (Samsung Mobile) today announce the availability of the samsung Alias 2. The Samsung Alias 2 is the Samsung’s next generation dual-hinge messaging phone with the convenience of an E lnk transforming keypad in a unique flip-style format. The phone is now available at Verizon Wirelss Communication Stores for $79.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

The Samsung Alias 2 comes with dual-hinge form factor with E lnk keyboard that can be changed based on what user needs. You can open it vertically as a flip phone with a traditional numeric keypad which can be changed to an alpha-only keypad. In landscape, the phone features a QWERTY keypad which can be changed to numeric with symbols. The phone also supports RemoSync to enable the owner to synchronize corporate e-mail, contacts and calendars from their office PCs. Besides the phone equipped with 2 megapixel camera with video capture capabilities, bluetooth with support for headset, microSD card slot up to 16GB and many more.

Motorola today announces a new slide out 3G mobile phone with gesture controls, Motorola MOTO W7 Active Edition. This phone is packed with motion-controlled games and built-in step pedometer. The phone will be available beginning in Q2 2009 in Asia and Latin America. You can choose from two colors – Licorice and Alphine White.

Basically the Motorol MOTO W7 Active Edition is designed for those who want a “moving” phone experience. The phone is equipped with an accelerometer that senses your body’s motions, orientation and hand gestures to perform tasks. For instance, flip the phone over to silence the ringer of an incoming calls, snooze the alarm clock or pause the music. You can also launch your favorite applications such as the music player, by shaking twice.

The Motorola MOTO W7 is also equipped with a built-in step pedometer that will enable you to count and record your daily walks and runs with a Personal Trainer application that will create a personal profile to help you control your exercise.
