If you can’t wait until November 6 to get the Verizon Motorola Droid you probably can try to find it on somewhere else. And eBay is one of the online stores that always there for you. Just checked to eBay website and there are couple of Droids offered with various prices. And the highest one so far is $799.99 without contract. I guess it’s too expensive and not sure someone will buy it.

There’s only one thing to say about the newly announced DROID by Motorola headed for Verizon, it’s amazin! Great features, powerfull hardware, amazing platform and absolutely it’s fast! I guess that’s why Verizon didn’t pay attention too much about the BlackBerry Storm 2. It’s because they something better and it’s the DROID. And finally, the Motorola DROID is official. Motorola just announced the world’s first smartphone with Android 2.0. Along with the announcement the Motorola Droid’s website on Verizon is now no longer just an invitation but has been changed to a full website with all features of the phone. And the intersting thing is you may turn your speaker on and you will he some kind of robot’s sound that supposed to be a Droid’s voice.

I can’t believe this. Motorola doesn’t even announce it yet neither Verizon but folks on Tinhte blog already got the handset and just posted a hands-on video of the much anticipated Motorola Droid. Android 2.0 aka Eclair Officially Announced

And here you go! Google just announced the Android 2.0 aka Eclair. It comes with new developer APIs for sync and some other new features for users and developers. Google also plans to have a minor version update of the Android 2.0 towards the end of the year which will be the last update for 2009. According to the team, if you have the Android 1.6 SDK, you can update your environment by installing the Android 2.0 platform and updated tools as SDK components. Otherwise, download the new SDK.

With the upcoming Droid event held by Verizon on October 28 which is very likely to be the announcement of the Motorola Droid that’s reported to run Android 2.0, Google also plans to unveil the new OS to public soon. But before it happen Google has decided to hand pick several developers to have an early look at the Android 2.0 for application testing purpose.

Next week we’ll see the second Motorola Android phone after the CLIQ/DEXT. Verizon Wireless in their invitation to media said that they’re going to unveil the Verizon’s “must have device of the year”, Motorola Droid on October 28. The phone which was rumored previously as the Motorola Sholes will come with Android 2.0 aka Eclair. BGR even had used it to demo the Android 2.0 preview few days ago.
