CNET reported the top 10 phones of CommunicAsia 2009 event in Singapore. Of those 10 phones, Samsung and LG dominating the list with 3 phones. The question is where those famous brand such HTC, iPhone or Palm gone? I think it’s because Asia always put in the last queue for every new devices from those brands. .
Let’s take a look of the top 10 phones of CommunicAsia 2009
Nokia E72 – A business-oriented phone as successor to the Nokia E71 with HSUPA network support and a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack.
Nokia 5530 XpressMusic – Another music phone from Nokia, better looking compared to the previous music phone Nokia 5800 XpressMucis and cheaper price for only 199 euros.
LG Crystal – Full touchscreen interface plus a transparent slide-out numeric keypad.
LG Viewty Smart - A 8 megapixel camera phone with intelligent shot feature.
LG Watch Phone – This phone actually not exactly new, but LG will be making it commercially available before the end of 2009.
Samsung Jet – A newly announced phone. Samsung called it as “smarter than a smartphone” with an impressive list of features, great and nice navigation menu and low price for only S$698 before operator subsidies.
Samsung Omnia II – A Windows Mobile based samrtphone as replacement of the Samsung Omnia SGH-i900.
Samsung Pixon12 – The first Samsung phone with 12 megapixel camera.
Sony Ericsson Satio – The first Sony Ericsson smartphone with 12 megapixel camera running on S60 5th Edition OS, 3.5-inch 640×360 pixel display.
Sony Ericsson Yari – A phone with Gesture Gaming features using the front-facing camera.
