Nokia Introduces the first X Series Handsets X6 and X3

Together with the Nokia N97 mini, Nokia also announces two music-oriented devices the Nokia X6 and X3 at the Nokia World today. Those phones are the first handsets of the the Nokia X series. Both phones will have direct access to the Nokia Ovi Store and will begin shipping during the fourth quarter of 2009.

Nokia X6 – a high-end music phone with 3.2″ finger touchscreen, Symbian OS S60 5.0, 32GB internal memory, 16:9 widescreen capability, 5 megapixel camera with double LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics, A-GPS, 3.5mm jack and a powerful battery that will enable you to play musics for 35 hours continuously. The phone will be available for estimated retail price of EUR 450.

Nokia X3 – a lower end music phone with a sleek and compact design. It’s the first Series 40 Ovi Store-enabled device comes with stereo speakers, 2.2 inch screen, built-in FM radio that you can be played without headset, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD slot support up to 16GB and a 3.5mm jack. The Nokia X3 will be available for estimated retail price of EUR 115.
