Now you have arrived at the trip destination. I’m sure you don’t want to get into a situation where you find out that you don’t even know where you are. If you have Google Maps, you will likely get rid of this situation and even find your ways back to the hotel or other places you want to go.

I’m sure most people have been in a situation where they want to go to the toilet but found that they have no idea where to go like in the airport, station or other places. The Toilet/Bathroom Finder app can help you to locate easily the nearest public toilet/bathrooms around of more than 60000 toilet places all over the world.
Well, sometimes probably found that Wi-Fi connection is much faster then the cellular in several locations. In this case, you need to find the both Free or paid Wi-Fi and the Wi-Fi Finder app can help you find over 200,000 locations worldwide.

YP Yellow Pages

After have been rumored in the last couple of days, the unlocked iPhone 4 GSM version is now available online from the US Apple Store. The 16GB model is available for $649 while the 32GB model is available for $749. Both model are available in black and white colors. That’s quite higher than what people are expected i think.

Before you go and get one, please be aware that the iPhone 4 only works with micro-SIM cards. So, make sure with the operator you choose that they have a micro-SIM card.

According to some sources, this offer is not only for iPhone 4 but also will be applied for the next generation of iPhones. So, Apple is not doing this to get rid of old stock before the next iPhone comes out for sure. And also as long as i know, unlocked iPhones are in great demand worldwide and those markets which sell them are often out of stock.

Well, let’s hope that this will be applied not for US Apple Store but also for other places around the world. Seems like this is one of Apple’s efforts to expand it’s iPhone sales to compete with Android. The only question is probably why it took so long for Apple to do this.

Check out on the Apple Store!

Seems like 3D display technology will be the next trend for smartphones and tablets with so many new devices released with 3D-enabled display recently. And at the Display Taiwan 2011 conference in Taipei this week, display manufacturer CPT show cased an iPad 2 with 3D-enabled display.

Apple has been rumored to being testing iPad models with 3D-enabled display technology in the ultra-slim aluminum case. But this one show cased by CPT would probably not fitted to what Apple is expected as the company is likely to opt for a glass-free panel. Moreover, the 3D capability would only be an added benefit if the iPad has a Retina Display.

Well once again, this is just a prototype only and will never seen in production. But that could be a hint that 3D-enabled display is possible to put into the thin iPad body and people are hoping to get see this on the next iPad 3. The iPad 3 it self is expected to release in Q2 2012 which is still another one year. So, there will be still many things could happened.

With so many Android phones coming recently, that’s good to have more options to choose from. But actually most of them are premium class with around $600+ on the price tag leaving an impression that Android users are identical with middle-high class of people. But the Samsung Conquer 4G would probably change that image. The phone which supposed to be an entry-level Android phone will be offered supposedly from Sprint at $50-100 price range with a two-year contract, nice isn’t it?

However, don’t under estimate this low cost Android phone just by looking at the price tag. The specs of the phone is absolutely worth of the cost or even better. Say the 1 GHz processor that’s probably the same with other Samsung Galaxy phones. Other specs include Android 2.x which is most likely Gingerbread, 320 x480 HVGA touch sceen which is the same resolution as the Samsung Replenish, 3.1 megapixel rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera. But the most important thing is the WiMAX support and a QWERTY slider keyboard which is probably could become strong selling points.

Well, this phone has yet to be officially unveiled but July 24th seems to be the launch date of the phone.

An interesting article posted on winphone7.info showing a long comparison chart between Windows Phone Mango and iOS features. This chart covers the general features of respective OS including the newly announced iOS 5 features. From the iOS side, this chart also breakdown specific features from iPhone and iPad. There’s no specific purpose addressed by this chart though, but from here you can see that Windows Phone Mango seemingly comes with more built-in features compare to iOS in general.

So, what does it mean? In Windows Phone, Microsoft tried to offer functionality as built-in features giving faster and more convenient access to those features accordingly. While Apple through the iOS offers functionality as an app. However, this approach has been used by Apple since the first time iPhone launched. And seems that Apple has been doing great job on this if we looking at the App Store.

Well this fact really gives an impression as if Windows Phone has better features set overall compared to iOS. But at the end, it’s the market who will judge which one has the better offer. So, who do you think is better?

Huawei just posted the first teaser video of the MediaPad, the new Android tablet from Huawei that’s scheduled for June 20th announcement. Not much we can tell from this video though since mostly taken from behind. But you can expect to see a fancy-looking 7-inch tablet similar to the HTC Flyer. Huawei said that it will be their smartest, smallest and lightest tablet ever.

What we’ve seen from the video, it’s looks promising so far. But of course it’s all depend on the price and the other marketing campaign from Huawei to be able to compete with other famous names like iPad, Motorola Xoom and PlayBook.

Seems like the iOS Jailbreak community can’t wait any longer. It’s still couple of months before the final iOS 5 firmware officially released to the public but the iOS 5 has been jailbroken twice. After the iPhone-Dev team on Friday released the redsn0w 0.9.8b1 to jailbreak iOS 5 beta, the iH8sn0w just announced that the sn0wbreeze 2.8b1 for iOS 5.0b1 now available for developers.

If you open the link posted on the twitter, you can see that the sn0wbreeze 2.8b1 also support other devices like iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (GSM/CDMA), iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4 and iPad 1G. The iOS 5 support only for iOS 5.0 beta 1 (9A5220p).

Well, we could expect to see other iOS 5 jailbreak coming before the official release this fall.

If you own iOS devices including iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, you probably ever heard about JailbreakMe. That’s a web-based jailbreaking tool from a developer named Comex. The previous release JailbreakMe 2.0 was able to jailbreak iOS 4.0/4.0.1. And just few hours ago, Comex on his Twitter posted a teaser of the updated JailbreakMe.com website showing a signboard which says “PDF”. This could be a hint that the JailbreakMe 3.0 which is likely also based on PDF exploit will be released soon

There’s no specific info regarding devices or iOS version that will be supported by this JailbreakMe 3.0. However, you could possibly expect to see the iPad 2 iOS 4.3.3 jailbreak which is not yet supported by other jailbreak tools like RedSn0w, PwnageTool and Sn0wbreeze. It’s also interesting to see whether the JailbreakMe will also support the new iOS 5 which the beta developer version has been early jailbroken recently.

When iPad 2 arrived 3 months ago, Comex has revealed that he successfully jailbroken it, but then Apple fix the iPad 2 jailbreak vulnerability in iOS 4.3.1.

For those who don’t know, JailbreakMe is the easiest iOS jailbreaking process ever released. All you need to do is to point your Mobile Safari browser to the JailbreakMe.com website. You’ll be presented with “slide to jailbreak” bar and once you do that, the JailbreakMe will do the rest of the process online.
