Palm has released the all new Facebook application for their Palm webOS devices. This complete revamped is something what they called a rewritten-from-scratch version of the Facebook application. The app is now available for free in the Palm App Catalog. I haven’t tried this new app but looking at the screenshots, this new version seems so promising and this is an absolutely good news for Palm webOS device owners.

iTunes 9.0.2 Update Kills the Palm Sync Again

Apple just released the iTunes 9.0.2 update on Thursday and for the third times, Palm users are disappointed again for losing the iTunes Sync and access to iTunes media library from their Palm device. Palm probably will release another software update to enable the iTunes Sync again, but is that the only thing Palm can do? Why don’t they make their own software like what other players already did.

The Palm webOS 1.2.0 finally released yesterday and now available to download after been leaked few weeks ago. There’s no new applications on this update, just features changes to existing applications and bug fixes including several security issues. With this update, the Sprint Navigation now pulls Google contacts from the phone, as well as Exchange and Palm profile contacts. In addition, like many people thought before, the iTunes sync doesn’t work.
Palm webOS 1.2.0 Release Notes Leaked

The Release Notes of the Palm webOS 1.2 recently leaked. Looking at the document, the Palm webOS 1.2 supposed to be available since September 8th. However just checked to the Sprint Palm Pre Support page as well as the official Palm Pre Support page and the update is not yet available. So seems like Palm need sometimes before it releases the stable version to the public.
