Almost exactly four months after the announcement, it’s finally here the official HP TouchPad release date and pricing. The Wi-Fi only of the HP’s first webOS tablet will start selling in US on July 1st. You can get the 16GB for $499.99 and 32GB for 599.99. The HP TouchPad pre order for North America and Europe also will be opened starting from June 19.

The HP TouchPad release date then will be followed by the UK, Ireland, France and Germany a few days later while Canada will get the tablet in mid-July. The roll-out will continue to Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, New Zealand, Singapore and Spain later this year.

Last but not least, HP also announced that the cellular version of the HP TouchPad will be introduced later this summer with AT&T as the partner.

HP Announces HP TouchPad Availability for United States, Europe and Canada

HP’s first webOS tablet will be available in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Germany a few days later and in Canada in mid-July, with availability scheduled to follow later this year in Italy and Spain, as well as in Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Singapore.

HP TouchPad will be available from U.S. retailers, commercial resellers and direct from HP with the option of either 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage⁽¹⁾ for $499.99 and $599.99, respectively.⁽²⁾ Preorders in North America and Europe will begin June 19.

HP also announced it will be partnering with AT&T to introduce a connected version of HP TouchPad later this summer. More information will be available closer to availability.

U.S. retailers and commercial resellers for HP TouchPad will include Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Walmart, Sam’s Club, OfficeMax, Amazon.com, Fry’s, Microcenter, other leading local and regional retailers, and HP’s online stores. Specific pricing and availability for HP TouchPad in Canada, France, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom will be announced regionally. Back in February when HP introduced the smallest full-featured HP webOS smartphone HP Veer 4G, it’s only said that the phone will be available in early spring without any info about the exact date yet the pricing. But today it’s all clear as AT&T announced that the phone will be available from AT&T stores and online on May 15. The Veer will be offered at $99.99 with a two-year contract both in black or white color.

Almost exactly one month after the announcement, finally we got new update about the new HP webOS devices: HP Pre 3, HP Veer and HP TouchPad. These devices are now available for pre-order from a UK reseller KingOfGadgets.co.uk. However, seems like those devices are still available in limited number only. The last time we checked to the website said that the HP Pre 3 is already in ‘Out of Stock’ status. So, you better be hurry or just wait until more stocks available.

Despite this limited stock issue, at least you know now the pricing for these webOS devices. And if you want to get it from other places, i’m sure it would be more or less similar. As you can see on the website, the unlock version of HP Pre 3 if offered at £499.00 or exactly the same price with the HP Veer. While for the tablet HP TouchPad, you can get it for £699.00.

HP Veer

HP Veer is the smallest webOS device to date, comes in the size of a credit card but offers the higher-end features of a smartphone. At just 54.5 mm x 84.0 mm x 15.1 mm and only 103 grams, Veer touts an 800 MHz processor, a vivid 2.57-inch glass display, full slide-out keyboard, 8GB of internal user storage, a high-performance browser with full access to the web including support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1 beta, Wi-Fi, integrated GPS, robust messaging support, and multimedia options including musics, photos, video-recording and playback, and a 5-megapixel camera.

HP Pre 3

HP Pre 3 is the medium size devices introduced at the webOS event. It comes in a thin slider with the largest QWERTY keyboard yet with 3.6-inch display at WVGA resolution or 2.5 times that what Pre has. It has a 5 megapixel camera, HD video with stabilization, front-facing camera for video calling, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 8GB or 16GB storage, and a Qualcomm processor at 1.4GHz.

HP Touch Pad

And finally the large size devices HP Touch Pad. It has a 9.7 inch display at 1024×768, Beats Audio built-in, weigh a little more than 1.5 pounds and 13 mm thick. It’s equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon processor at 1.2GHz, full 1 GB of RAM, and will be available in either 16GB or 32GB of storage. The HP TouchPad has all the webOS features including card stacks, Synergy and the Palm Profile.

There’s also something called “A6UpdateStage” mentioned on the code which is probably something related to internal hardware. I hope this “A6″ is not something related to the Palm UP383562A A6 Battery which is kind of old accessories.

So for the moment let’s just keep that in the rumor mill and see how HP transforms their hardware expertise to Palm.

Despite this great news, we also have to say sorry to Palm Pixi’s users knowing that the Adobe Flash support won’t be available for Pixi or Pixi Plus. At least that’s what we can see from the Palm Pre 2 Press release few days ago.

(6) The Adobe Flash Player 10.1 Beta is compatible only with Palm Pre devices; not compatible with Pixi or Pixi Plus.

Well this could be a little disapointment but still a good news though.

According to the source, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 will feature the newest BlackBerry OS 6.0 with a hardware QWERTY keyboard, 624 MHz processors, 2.4-inch TFT screen with 480 x 360 resolution, 5 megapixel camera with Autofocus and Video capture capability, 256 MB flash memory and 512 MB  RAM, microSD (TransFlash) slot up to 16 GB, a built-in GPS receiver and support for 3G with HSPA, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In addition, the BlackBerry Bold 9780 is reportedly to start selling on Vodafone Netherlands for 509 euro commitment-free price.

Well despite all those leaks and rumors whatever detail it is, still not official yet. So come on RIM, where’s the BlackBerry Bold 9780 Press Release?

The picture on the left above is the P102EWW and on the right is the P102UNA. According to the source, the name “P102″ indicates the Pre 2 it self while “EWW” is for CDMA and “UNA” is for North American GSM/UMTS. However, sadly to say that the UNA model will not come with AWS capability which means users on T-Mobile will only able to enjoy the Pre 2 at 2G speeds.

The Roadrunner device spotted for the first time last week on the same Metrix logs. It was a webOS developer who created an app with Foursquare reported this info. And this time, the Roadrunner comes again tweeted by KillinItLLC, the developer of popular game Cloud Hopper.

• Phone Arena recently published an “unofficial” Verizon upcoming phones which included Palm Pre 2 for October release

Our source indicates that we might see the Palm Pre 2 doing its thing at this time, however, every bit of info regarding this possible successor seems to be held pretty tightly right now.

• Jon Rubinstein with an interview with Fortune magazine recently affirmed that webOS 2.0 will be available for download later this year.
• Another hint by Jon Rubinstein said that Palm is also developing hardware in an aggressive manner.

As October is coming soon, it’s really interesting to see what Palm will bring for the first time after the HP acquisition.
