As i said before, once the rumor starts rolling more info will come. And the Xperiax10 blog just posted more pictures of the Xperia “ANZU” which is supposed to be the upcoming Sony Ericsson Android flagship Xperia X12. And from what we can see from the pictures, it’s surely thin. I also tried to search for more info on various sources about the X12 and these are what i got so far.
In addition to the 4.3 inch display, HDMI output and the “very, very slim” body, the display is said to be the AMOLED touch-scren with 1080×720 resolution with more clear and vivid display. While although i can’t guess how thin it is from the picture, but some sources said that it’s around 10mm thick and some more said around 3mm thiner than the Xperia X10. The Xperia X12 is currently running the Android 2.1 but expected to run Android Gingerbread 2.3 when it’s launched.
Another thing is, the Xperia X12 will come with 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4 processor, built-in 12 megapixel camera with 1080p video capture and playback capability, three-axis Gyroscope, Strengthen Timescape and Mediascape function. The Xperia X12 is expected for January 14, 2011 release.
Well, of course nothing of those are confirmed yet. For the moment let’s just keep it in rumor mills until we got more info while hoping that Sony Ericsson can do better now so they can bring the phone on-schedule.
