First the Nokia C7 and now the Nokia N9 Prototype leaked in China recently. This time probably i have to agree with EldarMurtazin that the security and protection of commercial secrets in Nokia is really vulnerable. Or could it be part of marketing strategy as the NokiaWorld event is coming this September. Bring up the news and make it big, who knows?
So, again it’s a China website who posted the photos of the Nokia N9 Prototype. Basically it comes in full metallic body with a QWERTY slider phone which is probably running Nokia’s MeeGoo (or Symbian^4?). The source on Engadget found it as RM-680 product type classification and 0595571 product code. There’s also label called “Property of Nokia” inside the phone’s battery compartment.
Well, as it’s just the prototype means it’s likely not the final shape and many things could change on the final retail product. But it supposed to be planned for a release date in the 48th week which is means beginning of December.
