The Nokia 5250 is now officially launched after being rumored since couple of weeks ago. The Nokia 5250 is a music-centric device comes with a touchscreen display. It’s intended for those seeking for multipurpose mobile functions as well as great value of money. The phone is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2010 with a price of €115 before taxes.
Basically the Nokia 5250 runs the Symbian^1 and support the GSM/EDGE networks and GPRS for data. Physically, it has a 2.8-inch TFT touchscreen with 16:9 aspect ratio and resolution of 640×360 pixels and 2 megapixel camera.
The Nokia 5250 offers many features to support it’s music capabilities. The music player can be access directly from the home screen. It supports a microSD memory slot up to 16GB and an FM radio. The Nokia 5250 also comes with a free copy of the Guitar Hero 5 Mobile. The phone will ship with the all-you-can eat music offering, Ovi Music Unlimited, in selected locations. In addition, the battery life is able to support music play up to 24 hours without stopping.
