Apple Released iOS 4.0.2 to Fix PDF Exploit

Wow! What’s happening with Apple? Just less than 2 months Apple has released 3 firmware updates. And the latest one is the iOS 4.0.2 as the update for the latest iOS 4.0.1 which was released not long ago. The iOS 4.0.2 is available for iPhone 3G, 3GS, and iPhone 4 as well as iPod Touch 2G, 3G and iPad.


Along with the iOS 4.0.2, Apple also released update for the lower version iOS 3.2.2. This updates basically addressed the PDF security hole used by Jailbreakme.com to jailbreak the iPhone iOS 4 and iOS 4.0.1. However this exploit also could be used by hackers to gain remote control into an iOS device.

For those of you who have jailbroken iPhones, you better avoid this update unless you will loose your jailbreak. If you still want to get the update, i suggest to wait for another jailbrake version which usually doesn’t need long time.
