AdMob Mobile Metrics May 2010: Apple and iOS Still Lead Worldwide Marketshare

AdMob just released the latest Mobile Metrics for May 2010. From this metrics, we can see that Apple with the iOS still lead the worldwide market share both for device manufacturers and Operating Systems. Android is the second biggest followed by Symbian OS. In specific category of Android devices, Motorola Droid holds the biggest share. This is similar to the data released by Chitika Ad Network last time.

This is the first Mobile Metrics released by AdMob after the acquisition of the company by Google in May 2010. But according to the AdMob team, this probably will be the last reports, at least for the next few months as the team will work on some new improvements to the report.
