Unlock iPhone Baseband 05.12.01 Is Coming Soon

For those of you who has the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G with OS 3.1.3 baseband 05.12.01, a good news is coming. MuscleNerd on his twitter confirmed the release of the tool to unlock Baseband 05.12.01 for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G. The question now is how soon is the tool will come out?

As we all know, Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 4G at WWDC 2010 which will be loaded with iPhone OS 4.0 in June 7th. Around the same time the update to the OS 4.0 will probably also available from iTunes for iPhones with older firmware. This update again will upgrade to the newer baseband as well.

Last time, the jailbreak version of the iPhone OS 4.0 came out just 24 hours after it’s announcement. So this time, it’s probably will not take long time until we can get the jailbrake version of the new OS.
