The third phone introduced by Sony Ericsson today is the Sony Ericsson Cedar. Compared to the Xperia X8 and Yendo, this phone is a lower class at an affordable price. The Sony Ericsson Cedar features the Widget Manager 2.0 which allows easy access to social networking and applications. The phone will be available in selected markets from Q3 2010 in the colors Black/Silver and Black/Red.
The Sony Ericsson Cedar is part of the Sony Ericsson’s “GreenHeart” phones. Comes in human curvature design which fits into the palm of the hand, the phone features various green credentials such as recycled plastics, a low power consumption charger, an e-manual, waterborne paint and compact packaging.
The phone which also comes with 2 megapixel camera, supports UMTS HSDPA 2100 and GSM GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS HSDPA 850/1900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 networks.
