A device which is claimed as the Nokia C7-00 recently caught in photos posted by a Chinese site. According to the source, the phone is said to come with 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, stereo speakers, 3.5-mm headphone jack, USB interface and a 3.5-inches display. The phone also will be equipped with Symbian S60 5th edition.

As the phone is still the prototype, there are many features are not yet confirmed. One of them is the touch screen capability which is claimed as the first Nokia’s first full touch screen 8 megapixel phone, not sure what that means. But it should be capacitive touch screen with multi-touch support. However, as the Symbian S60 5th edition doesn’t support multi-touch capabilities, it’s still unclear yet.
Another nice feature is the facial recognition in the camera and probably the 720P HD video capture. The current prototype device doesn’t support auto focus, but the official released device should do.
In terms of size, the phone should be similar to Nokia 5800XM. It supports WCDMA/HSDPA network and Wi-Fi, built-in GPS and Bluetooth v3.0. Although the source pretty sure about this info, we don’t know yet as there are many “fake” devices which look almost the same with the original in China. But if this is true, the phone is expected to be released in September during the Nokia World 2010 conference.
