As the iPhone 4 with the iOS4 supports the video capture there’s also the feature to export the video. Currently the options are only ‘Email Video’, ‘MMS’, ‘Send to MobileMe’ and ‘Send to YouTube’. However recently folks at 9to5mac found an evidence that Apple will also bring the ‘Export Video to Facebook’ feature to the iOS4.
The following code found in the iOS4 GM. From the code you can see that the maximum height or width of the video will be 480 pixels with a maximum of 30fps frame rate.
Apple plans to distribute the iOS4 firmware upgrade on June 21st. Looking at the fact that Facebook already started to use the Apple compatible video formats since few months ago, it’s likely that this feature will also come with the official iOS4 upgrade or if not in the next firmware update.
