Official Facebook App for Android Released

The official Facebook application for Android just released. This app was developed by Google team instead of Facebook. Currently the app only comes with news stream, the ability to post status updates, and the ability to take/upload photos to Facebook. Most of features offered in iPhone version that was released week ago are not available yet at the moment including messaging features.

Well, i guess it’s still good anyway for initial version release. Besides it’s also said that the app is fast to load compared to the iPhone version and comes with notifications of new events feature just like the version in iPhone OS 3. The application is now available in the Android Market. Check also the short review of the app on the video below and some nice screenshots of the app.
