Firstly i would like to say congratulations to Motorola for their first Android phone Motorola CLIQ aka DEXT yesterday, it’s awesome so far. So let’s just watch the hands-on video below taken by folks from phonedog.com right after the announcement. To refresh your mind again, the Motorola CLIQ is gonna be the US market version headed to T-Mobile this Fall while for outside US market the phone will have a name DEXT and will be available first from Orange in early October. Anyway, no prices has been announced yet.

- The phone will be available in Titanium and “Winter White” colors
- It features Android 1.5 OS with Motorola customized User Interface called MotoBlur
- The CLIQ is a GSM phone with 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth
- 3.1-inch display with 320×480 pixels (HVGA), 187 dpi. It’s a capacitive screen, however the multitouch is not there yet at the moment
- 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and geotagging
- 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo bluetooth
- Social Network integration including Twitter, MySpace, Facebook as well as the messaging and contacts on the MotoBlur UI
- Customizeable social “happenings” and RSS widgets which can be selected from different channels
- Comes with multiple panels which can be scrolled
- Lots of Google applications integration
- Direct access to Android Market
