The Facebook for BlackBerry team could be working very hard to give the best to their users. Just few days after the release of the version 3.0 of the Facebook client for iPhone which includes so many new features that people wants, recently reported that the Facebook client for BlackBerry smartphone is going to get update to version 1.7 in the next few days which is planned for this September. Good for BlackBerry users?
In some points maybe yes, but still lacking of many features compared to what iPhone users get. Basically there are some new features coming to the application:
- Setting filters for information displayed in your Facebook page
- Faster page loading
- New option in the contextual menu: View Profile
- New option to set time of the news
Well looks like the Facebook for BlackBerry team need to work harder if they want to offer features like what iPhone users have.
