Just over six months the Ovi Mail by Nokia have reached 1 million users. The top five countries for Ovi Mail users are India, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia and South Africa. Since launched in December 2008, Ovi Mail is now available in more than 180 countries and supports 20 languages.
For those of you who don’t know about Ovi Mail, it’s a free email service just like Yahoo! Mail or Gmail. But with Ovi Mail you will be able to set it directly from your Nokia phones through the email setup wizard. The Ovi Mail was initially designed for developing countries where many people still don’t have access to a PC. If you register to Ovi Mail you will have an email address with @ovi.com as the address. Besides from the Nokia devices it’s also available as web email with 1GB of storage, nice!
