Apple just released the iPhone OS 3.1 beta build 7C97D to developers along with the iPhone SDK 3.1. According to the info this new firmware which is still under first beta version includes some bug fixes and new features. One of them is the battery issues and the tethering hack that now works correctly. Besides it’s also reported to have faster boot-up and a toggle for “Fraud Protection” in Safari.
