Welcoming the BlackBerry Pearl Flip to Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless and Research In Motion (RIM) today announced that the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 smartphone will be available starting from June 19. Verizon will offer the phone for $129.99 with a two-year contract and after a $70 mail-in-rebate.

The BlackBerry Pearl flip is RIM’s first clamshell BlackBerry features two high-resolution color displays and 2.0 megapixel camera with zoom, flash and video recording, large SureType QWERTY keyboard and microSD/SDHC card slot upto 16GB. The 3G-enabled BlackBerry Pearl Flip also works with various BlackBerry services such as VZ Navigator, Visual Voice Mail, BlackBerry App World and BlakBerry Media Sync. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip will be offered in a Silver color.
