HTC just released an updated ROM for HTC Diamond2 few days ago. This ROM upgrade is a generic software update with version number 1.40.707.1 and Radio version 3.44.25.27. The only improved functions on this upgrade as mentioned on the Release Notes is the Radio upgrade. For details improvements or problem fixed by this update if any you can read on the readme file.
I’m sure you may also can find the similar update somewhere on the net customized by communities, forums, etc. But if you want to do the upgrade your self with this version, make sure that this ROM version is newer than what is currently installed on your device. And if it’s the same version and your device doesn’t have any problem, so you don’t need to reinstall the software. Another thing that you need to concern about before doing the upgrade is to make sure that the battery level of the device is at least 50%.
The last but not least, this ROM file is free to download but you have to enter your device Serial Number.
